Sail & Cover Servicing
One of the worst things for yacht sails is to leave them in place on a boat when ashore for the winter. At the end of the season all sails and covers should be removed and stored correctly.
Care Note: Sails should be stored in a dry place and folded correctly.
Our winter servicing of sails and covers includes a thorough inspection and repair prior to storage with the owner being notified of any more serious issues so as to avoid any nasty suprises.
Once any required repairs are complete all sails stored with us are laundered to ensure that no salt is left within the cloth and then folded properly for winter storage.
This whole process goes a long way to increase the life expectancy of sails and covers and ensure that the start to the next sailing season is not delayed.
